How to play Caribbean Stud Poker Progressive Jackpot Bet – Each player has the option of making this bet for $1 in order to participate in the Progressive Jackpot. (Players win all or part of the jackpot with hands of Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four-of-a-Kind, Full House or Flush.) Ante – Opening bet made by each player before the cards are dealt (as in Poker.) The Deal – Every player receives 5 cards dealt face-down. The dealer receives 5 cards, the last of which is dealt face-up. Bet (to Call the Dealer) – This bet is made if the player feels his hand will beat the dealer's hand. This bet must be exactly twice the original ante bet. Fold – Each player will have the option to fold if that player feels his hand is not strong enough to beat the dealer. The ante bet is collected and the “bet” (to call the dealer) cannot be made. Dealer's Bet – Dealer must have an Ace/King or higher to continue. If the dealer cannot “open” with an Ace/King, the hand is over and the dealer will collect the cards and pay ante bets on players who stayed in the hand. If the hand is high enough to open, and the player's hand is higher than the dealer's hand, the player may qualify for a bonus. Note: The Bonus Payout Schedule is paid up to table maximum payout. These payoffs are normal table payoffs, and are in addition to the Progressive Jackpot payoff. The Progressive Jackpot Bet ensures a player will win the current Progressive Jackpot amount appropriate to his hand, whether or not that hand beats the dealer. It is the player's responsibility to declare a hand qualifying for the Progressive Jackpot. Note: If two or more players qualify for all or part of the Progressive Jackpot during the same hand, the winners will share the jackpot as an aggregate.
