BAD BEAT JACKPOT
RULES FOR TEXAS HOLD'EM
The concept of the "Bad Beat Jackpot" developed from the desire to compensate a player that had a very good hand and was beaten by a better hand. The house taking $1.00 drop whenever the pot is $20.00 or more funds the "Bad Beat jackpot". The house will pay the "Bad Beat Jackpot" once the following rules have been satisfied.
1. Four of a kind (Quads) or better must be beaten by four of a kind (Quads) or better.
2. Both hole cards in each player's hand must play (both hole cards must be part of the best 5 cards being played).
3. If a player's best hand is a four of a kind, both hole cards must be a pair. (No exceptions).
4. There must be at least four players at the start of the hand to qualify for the bad beat jackpot.
5. The pot size must be at least $20.00 (including the bad beat drop and the house drop) to qualify for the bad beat.
6. The playing deck of cards must contain the proper number and sequence of cards.
7. The pay out will be as follows:
50% to the best losing hand
25% to the hand that wins the pot
25% will be shared equally by all the players that started the hand.
